Privacy Policy
Effective · August 2, 2026 · Last updated · August 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Kairos (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit kairos.eco.
Kairos is currently an editorial site. There are no accounts, no shop, no payments and no mailing list, so almost none of the collection described below is active today. Sections marked (not yet active) describe what would apply if those features launch. This policy will be updated before any of them do.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide (not yet active)
The site currently has no forms, no checkout and no sign-up. The only way to contact us is by email, in which case we hold whatever you choose to write to us. If a shop or mailing list launches, we would collect:
- Email address (worksheet downloads, communications)
- Name and shipping address (orders)
- Payment information — processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers
Information collected automatically
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and sets no personal identifiers. It records aggregate figures only:
- Pages visited
- Referring URL
- Country
- Broad device and browser type
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses transiently to serve and secure the site. We do not have access to a log of individual visitors’ IP addresses, and we do not build profiles of readers.
This site sets no cookies. See Section 5.
2. How we use your information
Today, we use information only to:
- Respond to inquiries you send us by email
- Understand aggregate site usage so we can improve the site
- Comply with legal obligations
(Not yet active) If a shop or mailing list launches, we would also process and fulfil orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, and send email communications you have opted into.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share your information
Service providers
Today: our hosting and analytics provider, Cloudflare, and our email provider, Microsoft, for correspondence you send us.
(Not yet active) If commerce launches, this would extend to a payment processor, an email marketing platform, and shipping carriers. Those providers would access your information only to perform services on our behalf, and this policy will name them before they are used.
Affiliate tracking
The site currently carries no affiliate links. If affiliate links are added, the affiliate platform may set a tracking cookie when you click one. We do not control those third parties’ privacy practices. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Legal requirements
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Your rights
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
You have the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Contact [email protected].
EEA / UK residents (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port your data, and to object to certain processing. Our present legal basis is legitimate interest (cookieless, aggregate analytics). If commerce or email marketing launches, contract performance and consent would also apply. Contact [email protected].
5. Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Our analytics are cookieless, so no consent banner is required. See our Cookie Policy for detail, including what we would do if that ever changes.
6. Data retention
Email correspondence is retained as long as necessary to respond to you and to comply with legal obligations. Aggregate analytics are retained by Cloudflare for a rolling period and contain no personal identifiers.
(Not yet active) If commerce launches, order records would be kept for seven years for tax and warranty purposes, and email list records until you unsubscribe.
7. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes
Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
